Who is this course for….

This non-accredited training course will train the candidate to use a Fork Lift Truck, and is only valid on the site where the training took place. If an employee leaves your company then the certificate is no longer valid.

This course is not appropriate for people who work on-site and will not certify them to use a Fork Lift Truck at a different premises.

Course Brief & Learning Outcome:

All Non-Accredited Fork Lift Truck training courses are designed to meet the requirements placed upon employers with regard to their duties under the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, the Provision and Use of Work Equipment Regulations 1998 (PUWER), the Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations 1998 (LOLER) and other regulations and codes of practice.

Other Information:
  • This training can only be done for a maximum of 3 candidates
  • This course can only be undertaken on your premises. Derwent Training do not have the facilities to run this at our training centre
  • It is recommended that the candidates certificate is refreshed every 3 years to keep up to date with safety knowledge.

Terms & conditions

1.1) If making a course booking more than 2 weeks from enquiry a 50% non-refundable deposit is to be paid within 48 hours to confirm your course booking. The remaining balance will be due 2 weeks before commencement of the training. An invoice will be raised for the deposit amount upon receipt of the completed booking form.

1.2) If making a course booking less than 2 weeks from enquiry then 100% of the course fees are due to be paid within 48 hours to confirm your course booking.

1.3) If Derwent Training Association do not receive payment for the course booking within the time-frame then your date will be offered to another customer. If final payment is not received before the deadline, Derwent Training reserves the right to cancel the course and the remaining balance is to be paid by the customer.

1.4) For those delegates taking part in a course that requires final examination to gain certification, Derwent Training will not cover the costs of any resits required to pass the course. All resits are to be paid for by the customer. All certificates will be withheld by the training centre until payment has been received.
