We collect and process personal data relating to learners at enrolment and throughout their course.
We are committed to being transparent about how we collect and use that data and to meeting its data protection obligations.
The GDPR policy provides further details of the data collected and our commitment to data protection, individual rights, and obligations in relation to personal data.
Acceptable IT User Agreement
All learners are required to sign an Acceptable IT User Agreement during induction. Using our IT resources (hardware & software) is covered by this agreement.
Specifically your attention is drawn to to the fact that desktops and laptop usage is tracked in terms of who is logged onto that piece of equipment at any given time.
IT usage is monitored, and inappropriate use and particular words and phrases trigger an alert on the system. Such triggers are reported to senior staff.
Follow up actions could include such things as disciplinary procedures, starting a safeguarding concern or raising a Prevent referral to support the country’s counter-terrorism actions.
