Induction
At the Training Centre
We will induct you at the Training Centre. It allows you meet and network with other new apprentices. It covers a variety of topics to help you settle into your programme. Specifically it covers
- the structure of apprenticeships
- how your apprenticeship and your job are linked
- your role and responsibility whilst studying
- the support services available to you
- how to contact your Trainer, the Safeguarding Officer and the Business Support Team
We aim to reduce any anxiety you have when starting an apprenticeship.
At your workplace
- If you are a new employee undertaking an apprenticeship, your workplace induction ensures that you have a thorough knowledge of company procedures, company policies on health and safety, equality and diversity, welfare, terms and conditions of employment and important information regarding enrolment onto your apprenticeship. We will check this has happened.
- If you are a current employee, we will check that you have access to and understand your company’s policies.
