Job Description:

You will be trained to be competent in the maintaining the safety, reliability and performance of a diverse range of industrial equipment including CNC saws, automatic handling systems, laser cutting machines, remote controlled overhead gantry cranes and much more.

Day to day duties will include:

  • Preventative maintenance, servicing, and parts replacement.
  • Electrical, mechanical, hydraulic & pneumatic fault finding and repairs.
  • Programming of automated systems.
  • Machine moving and installation.
  • Welding and fabricating.
  • Crane operation, safety and awareness.
  • Communication.

The successful recruit must be able to make their own travel arrangements to National Tube Stockholders in Thirsk and to Derwent Training in Malton.

National Tube Stockholders in not on a public transport route.

Qualifications Required:

All applicants must have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSE's (9-4 / A*-C). Including Maths grade 5 or above, English grade 4 or above, Science or Technical Subject grade 4 or above.
