Derwent Training will close for the Christmas Break on Friday 15th December from 12pm. We will reopen on Tuesday 2nd January 2024 to all learners who will return on their usual attendance day during this week.

It has been a fantastic year celebrating our 35 Years’ in Business during 2023. Our Chief Executive Officer, Claire Gavaghan had this to say nearing the end of another successful year: ”Thirty-five years in business is a significant achievement for an independent training provider. We are rightly proud to be based in North Yorkshire and train apprentices in leadership and engineering.

Over the last 35 years we have supported thousands of apprentices, the majority of whom have stayed in the region as their careers have progressed. Many have started their own businesses and taken on apprentices who have also trained with Derwent Training.

Our clients are the bedrock of our business and we are delighted that they appreciate our work with a current employer satisfaction score of 98%. This is only possible by working in partnership with employers to deliver the training needed to develop their workforce. Our consistently high pass rates give employers confidence that their employees will contribute to the business and increase their productivity.

Our success is possible because of our honest and ethical approach in business. We ensure the apprenticeship is the right programme for the right person in order to achieve the right outcome for them. It is only in this way that both the client and Derwent training prosper.
