This is a fantastic opening for a Level 3 Machining Technician, with training and learning taking place in both a practical hands-on environment and within an operations environment. Setting & operating 3D Laser Tube Profiling machines. Responsible for safety quality, customer service as well as first line maintenance. Involved in production planning, material flow & logistics. We provide steel tubes to a wide range of engineering and construction companies and have provided steel for the Wembley Arch and the Shard in London among many other high-profile projects.
Your training will be tailored to our business while receiving on-the-job mentoring from our Laser Operations Manager. Offsite day-release
training will be provided throughout the 3.5-year apprenticeship to cover topics in more detail.

The successful recruit must be able to make their own travel arrangements to National Tube Stockholders on Dalton Industrial Estate, Nr Thirsk and to Derwent Training in Malton. National Tube Stockholders is not on a public transport route.
4 or more GCSE’s, including English and Maths at grade 4 or above are essential.
