The William Hare Group is a family owned business with origins in the UK dating back to the 1880s. William Hare is Europe’s largest independent structural steel contractor, specialising in engineering, fabrication and erection of steel structures – such as Manchester airport (T2), Trafford Centre and Hinkley Point C. Throughout the world, the group has carried out projects in over 50 countries and currently employs over 2000 skilled staff.
A fabricator will produce work made from thick metal plates and structural steel sections, such as columns and beams, using a wide range of tools and equipment. This will contribute to projects for large-scale buildings such as the Nuclear Power Plant at Hinckley Point C - which is currently the largest construction site in Europe.

All applicants must have achieved a minimum of 5 GCSE's (Grade 9-4 / A*-C) including English, Maths and Science (grade 4 or equivalent) essential
Level 3 Metal Fabricator Apprenticeship Standard.
Once qualified, you will become a fabricator welder and depending on your progress, you might have the opportunity for progression within the business.
