Derwent Training has continued delivery of training from March 2020 throughout the pandemic, with only a break at Christmas. The pandemic is impacting us all. We know this lockdown is affecting everyone, both physically and mentally, leaving people exhausted. We become snappy with each other and with our families. Neither of these is good, though each is understandable.
We have a duty of care to our employees and our learners. We want and need staff to rest and stay well. This pandemic will be a long hauk. To that end, we have taken the decision to take the February half-term off. From Monday 15th February to Friday 19th February, we will stop working and be off emails.
Whilst we cannot go away on a holiday or travel for days out, we can step off the work and study treadmill. It may be that people veg out and watch box sets, they may decorate a room, they may start running, they may start or a finish the novel they have always wanted to publish, but we are asking staff not to undertake any work during that week and rest.
We will will start again on Monday 22nd February, hopefully feeling refreshed and rested, ready to continue to support apprentices be successful.
Thank you for your continued support.
