DTA's annual Open Evening is due to take place on Tuesday 6th March 4pm - 7pm as part of National Apprenticeship Week and National Careers Week.

The evening will give visitors the opportunity to speak to local employers' about career opportunities in their companies and what a job entails, have a look around our specialist training facilities and have a go with some interactive engineering activities. Visitors can also speak to current apprentices from different companies across North Yorkshire about their experience and what their roles entail.

We are extremely pleased after being one of the first Training Providers in region to offer the Apprenticeship Standards from September 2017 that the first year apprentices who sat the centre's first ever AME2 units passed with well over half the class achieving Merit or Distinction grades. Well done to all!

Apprentice employer Dale Power Solutions has won the British Army Award for Large Employer of the Year 2017 at the National Apprenticeship Awards; beating Home Group and Volvo Group and Eire in the Finals. 

We are pleased to announce that apprentice employer Rosti Automotive, Pickering have been named as finalists in the Learning and Development Category in the 2018 Ryebas Awards. 

The awards are due to be held on Tuesday 30th January at The White Swan in Ampleforth.
