Job Description:

Supporting the Technical Pain Plan Team in ensuring production runs smoothly.

Roles & Responsibilities include:

  • Preparation and accurate conditioning of paint (ensuring maintenance of technical parameters)
  • Undertaking and reporting of scheduled TPM activities relating to pain delivery systems, including monitoring spare part stock levels and organising replacements
  • Monitoring of ABB and Fanuc painting robots, including operation in manual/teach mode
  • Maintenance and monitoring of paint delivery systems, including operation of computer delivery systems
  • Health & safety, general housekeeping and safe storage of all materials (COSHH)

This role involves working with paint and the associated smell.

Qualifications Required:

Must have at least 4 GCSE's at grade C or above or 4-9, particularly in Maths, English and Science

  • Comfortable working in a fast paced and high pressured environment
  • An interest in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering

Qualifications Gained(upon completion):

Upon completion the candidate would gain an Engineering Technician Level 3 Standard which would include the following qualifications

  • Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Foundation competence)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering (Development Knowledge)
  • Level 3 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing and Engineering - Mechatronics Maintenance Technician

The candidate will become a Paint Plant Technician

£7.30 per hour
Weekly Hours:
37.5 hrs (Mon - Thurs 8.00am - 4.30pm, Fri 8.00am - 1.30pm
